Working Principle

 

The crushing core consists of two key toothed components. The movable toothed disc is fixed on the main shaft and runs at high speed during operation, while the outer toothed ring is firmly mounted on the inner wall of the crushing chamber and kept static.

After raw materials enter the crushing chamber from the feeding port, they quickly enter the high-speed operating area. Materials are repeatedly impacted, sheared and rubbed between the dynamic and static tooth structures until reaching the qualified particle size. Driven by internal circulating airflow, crushed fine powder moves toward the screen mesh. Qualified particles pass through the screen and discharge out of the Gear disc crusher, while oversized particles remain in the chamber for continuous secondary crushing.

Users can replace screen meshes of different specifications to adjust finished powder fineness according to actual production needs. For conventional processing scenarios, the adjustable particle size range is stably maintained between 10 mesh and 120 mesh.

Circulating cooling water takes away accumulated heat in real time, stabilizing material properties and ensuring consistent finished product quality.

Despite the name of Gear disc crusher, this equipment does not support all material types with full compatibility. It has clear usage limitations in actual industrial production.

Standard models cannot process flammable and explosive materials; professional certified explosion-proof configuration is mandatory for such special materials. Excessively hard raw materials will accelerate wear of toothed disc components, while high-viscosity materials easily cause internal accumulation and screen blockage, both not applicable for this equipment.

Strict pre-start inspection is required. Workers must remove all metal fragments and hard foreign objects inside the crushing chamber to avoid equipment damage. It is also necessary to confirm the motor rotation direction is consistent with the Gear disc crusher marked direction before formal operation.

Toothed discs and screens are core wearing parts. Their wear degree needs regular inspection, especially when processing abrasive materials, to ensure stable crushing accuracy and equipment safety.
