Microwave Tunnel Dryer

Microwave energy acts directly on the molecules of materials and other media, causing them to vibrate and rub at high speed and convert into heat energy. Because microwaves have penetrating power, they can heat the inside and outside of the material simultaneously without relying on heat conduction, so the heating speed is very fast and the heat conversion efficiency is high. When the microwave tunnel dryer is working, the material is fed into the drying channel composed of multiple microwave heating chambers connected in series by a conveyor belt. Microwaves penetrate and heat the material laid on the conveyor belt, raising the temperature of the material in a very short time, and the internal moisture evaporates. The water vapor generated by evaporation rises to the top of the chamber and is discharged in time by the matching exhaust system, thereby achieving the purpose of fast and uniform drying of the material.

Microwave tunnel dryer is widely used in the food, health product, medicinal herb, agricultural and sideline product, pharmaceutical and chemical, textile, timber, and packaging industries.

In the food industry, it is used for drying and sterilizing Chinese medicinal herbs, prepared Chinese medicines, powdered foods, vacuum-packed cooked foods, bagged meat products, and condiments.

In the chemical and mining industries, it is used for drying chemical raw materials and organic solvents, as well as minerals such as iron ore, titanium ore, and quartz sand. It is particularly advantageous in the drying of alumina and aluminum hydroxide due to its fast drying speed and dust-free operation.
