The application of crushing machinery can achieve the following main purposes:
① Reduce the particle size of materials to a certain size, such as grinding flour, crushing feed, grinding pigments, dyes, and raw and cooked cement materials, grinding slurries to prepare suspensions, and increasing the flowability, filling properties, and ease of packaging, storage, and transportation of materials;
② After crushing, materials are sieved into small blocks, fine particles, or powders of different particle sizes, such as preparing boulders, crushed stone, and artificial sand for concrete and road construction projects, and crushing raw coal into medium blocks, small blocks, and coal powder according to user needs;
③ Increase... Increase the surface area of materials to enhance their physical effects or the speed of chemical reactions. For example, grinding materials awaiting artificial drying accelerates the drying process; finely grinding catalysts and adsorbents enhances their catalytic efficiency and adsorption capacity, respectively; and grinding coal into pulverized coal improves combustion speed and completeness.
④ Separate different components in the material after crushing to further separate them from each other. For example, crushing iron ore and then using magnetic separation or flotation to obtain refined iron ore powder; and crushing lead-zinc ore and then separating it into lead ore powder and zinc ore powder.
