Precautions For Using Vacuum Ovens

1. The vacuum chamber casing must be effectively grounded to ensure safe use.

2. The vacuum chamber should be used in an environment with a relative humidity ≤85%RH, free from corrosive gases, strong vibration sources, and strong electromagnetic fields.

3. Without explosion-proof and corrosion-resistant treatments, flammable, explosive, or corrosive materials should not be placed in the vacuum chamber for drying.

4. The vacuum pump should not operate for extended periods. Therefore, when the vacuum level reaches the required level for drying the items, first close the vacuum valve, then turn off the vacuum pump power. Wait until the vacuum level is lower than the required level before reopening the vacuum valve and power pump to continue evacuating. This will extend the vacuum pump's lifespan.

5. If the items being dried are damp, it is best to install a filter between the vacuum chamber and the vacuum pump to prevent moisture from entering the pump and causing malfunction.

6. If the dried items are lightweight and small in size (small particles), a screen should be added to the vacuum port in the working chamber to prevent the dried material from being sucked in and damaging the vacuum pump (or solenoid valve).

7. After repeated use, the vacuum chamber may fail to create a vacuum. In this case, replace the door seal or adjust the door latch extension distance. When the vacuum chamber's drying temperature exceeds 200℃, slow leakage may occur (except for models 6050, 6050B, 6051, and 6053). To resolve this, remove the rear cover and loosen the heater base with an Allen wrench, then replace the sealing ring or tighten the heater base.

8. If the rubber stopper on the vent valve is difficult to rotate, apply a small amount of grease (such as Vaseline) for lubrication.

9. Except for maintenance, do not remove the left side cover (except for models 6090 and 6210) to avoid damaging the electrical control system.

10. The vacuum chamber should be kept clean regularly. Never wipe the glass door with reactive chemical solutions; use a soft cotton cloth.

11. If the vacuum chamber is not used for a long period, clean the exposed electroplated parts, apply neutral grease to prevent corrosion, cover with a plastic film dust cover, and store in a dry indoor environment to prevent electrical components from getting damp and damaged, affecting its use.

12. When the vacuum chamber is not needed for continuous evacuation, close the vacuum valve first, then turn off the vacuum pump power; otherwise, vacuum pump oil will flow back into the chamber.
